Van Amsterdam Duo
The Van Amsterdam Duo, founded in 2004, is a unique combination of accordion (Vincent van Amsterdam) and violin (Jeanine van Amsterdam). This Chamber music ensemble plays an interesting and diverse program. In concert, you will definitely be surprised by their colourful sound, timing and excitingly chosen repertoire. The repertoire of the Van Amsterdam Duo consists pieces by composers such as J. S. Bach, A. Vivaldi, A. Schnittke, C. Meijering, V. Zubitsky and A. Piazzolla. Also the première of 'Message to Rodion' took place in 2014, composed by Frank van Gompel.
